This page explains how to delete your Driftly account and what happens to your data. Driftly takes data deletion seriously — every deletion is permanent and processed within 30 days, with most data removed immediately.

How to delete your account (in-app)

The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the Driftly app:

  1. Open the Driftly app on your device
  2. Tap the Profile tab (bottom-right of the navigation bar)
  3. Tap Settings
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
  5. Read the confirmation screen carefully
  6. Tap Permanently delete to confirm

The deletion runs immediately. You will be signed out and returned to the welcome screen. The associated account and personal data are erased from our servers and your device within seconds.

If you do not see the Delete Account option, make sure you are running the latest version of Driftly from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

How to delete your account (by email)

If you cannot access the app — for example, your device is lost or the app was already uninstalled — email us and we will process the deletion manually within 30 days:

What is deleted

When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed from our servers and cannot be recovered:

What is kept

A small amount of non-personal data may be retained for the reasons below. None of this data is linked to you personally after deletion:

We do not sell your data. We do not run ads. We do not share your sleep history with third parties.

Cancelling your subscription

Deleting your Driftly account does not automatically cancel a Google Play or Apple App Store subscription. Cancel via the store you originally purchased from:

Android (Google Play)

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon (top-right)
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
  4. Select Driftly and tap Cancel subscription

iOS (Apple App Store)

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Tap your Apple ID name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Select Driftly and tap Cancel Subscription

If you have already been charged for the current billing period, refer to Google Play's refund policy (Android) or Apple's refund request page at reportaproblem.apple.com (iOS) — refunds are handled by the respective store, not by Driftly.

Re-creating an account

If you delete your account and later decide to use Driftly again, you can sign up at any time. A new account starts fresh — none of the deleted personalization, history, or settings can be restored.
